Mrs. Inatorma Sudiatu Coomber is a highly experienced professional with a 33-years career spanning various roles in education, humanitarian work, administration, and social and development initiatives both nationally and internationally. Among her notable positions, she previously worked as the Program Manager at Christian Aid, overseeing a DFID-funded program called Social Accountability and Building Inclusion (SABI). Her tenure at Christian Aid also involved serving as a Program Officer on an Ebola Emergency Response Program and a DFID/EU funded good governance program aimed at improving accountability and citizen participation.
She also served in various capacities with organizations like Oxfam GB, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), World Rehabilitation Fund (WRF), Boys and Girls Society Sierra Leone, and Forum for African Women Educationalists, Sierra Leone Chapter.
Mrs Coomber holds several degrees, including a degree in Home Economics, postgraduates in Adult Education and Community Development, Public Administration and Management, and a master’s degree in Rural Development Studies. She currently works at the Sierra Leone Maritime Administration as Director of Administration
