OUR TEAM
Mr Gerard (Gerry) V Magbity is a Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH) engineer and a Supply Chain Management Specialist. He has over 30 years of experience in water and sanitation, supply and logistics management.
He currently works in the Contracting and Procurement Unit of the Canadian Mission to the European Union based in Brussels, Belgium.
Prior to his current job, he worked in various capacities in many countries; to name a few; Denmark, Somalia, Sudan, Nigeria, DRC, Rwanda, Burundi, Mozambique with several organizations: World Vision, UNICEF, Medecins Sans Frontiers, International Rescue Committee (IRC), Oxfam, Save the Children, WaterAid etc.
Besides English, Gerry fluently speaks and writes French, Portuguese and Russian.
