Mr. Francis Nylander is an experienced ICT professional. Francis was a pioneer in setting up Computech Limited – a computer services company. As Administrator at Computech, Francis trained instructors, diversified the curriculum, introduced multimedia in training, developed training manuals, and designed an effective training schedule that led to the achievement of substantial growth in revenue and hardware infrastructure within a year.

Francis holds a Bachelor of Science degree, Diploma in Data processing, ITIL, and PRINCE2 certifications. He pursued additional professional development and Leadership training. Francis worked with World Vision International – Sierra Leone as Service Desk Administrator, Systems Administrator, Database Administrator, and Regional ICT Coordinator; totaling a period of 17 years during which he deployed several technologies, working with 45 communities across four districts in Sierra Leone.

With a cumulative 24 years in the ICT field, his strong team-player mentality, good work ethics, excellent innovative and teaching skills, coupled with his deep passion for ICT4D, Francis’ vision is to see SCN enhance community use of ICT platforms as key drivers for sustainable community development and the country at large.
